The French having way doing things, as I sat tired on the train from and weary from what seemed like “One of them weeks” in my life. It just seemed comical that I got lumbered with what must be the most annoying French couple possible.
I know the French are renowned for their love and seduction, but I don’t give a fuck, I do not want to see 2 couples what must be described as an “Erotic poke” laughing like hyenas. Also why the hells did the French women keep turning round to look at me during the middle of it all…
After what seemed like a long day, the last thing I needed was hearing two crazy French people get in on, whilst on my journey home from College.
I’m getting used to results day, years of trying and failing has led to me having not so high hopes when it comes to collecting my results. I had my media studies class in the morning, but there was only one thing I had going through my head was the results of AS examinations.
We could collect the results at 12:00 by seeing the individual subject’s tutors in question and when it came to get the results, I had adopted a “C'est la Vie” type attitude towards whatever my exam results.
The initial response from my teacher was good “You have significantly improved your UMS score” and I even ended up flukely getting a B on the Business Thematic Enquiry which certainly to help to lift the gloom from what I thought were pretty disappointing results.
Business Objectives and Environment – Somehow I did worse than last time - D
Business Decisions – I think I got a C
Business Behavior – Another C
Business Thematic Enquiry – Hahaha I got a B somehow!
Business Strategy – E (Although I was expecting it)
And for my Economics I scrapped a C (Although again I am pretty disappointed with that result, looking back at it considering how easy that paper was.)
On the whole I was pretty gutted at my results (Considering how much hard work I put into it) and my misery continued when I got told all the Reading Festival ticket/coach placements have been taken at the College Student Union trip.
Now it’s going to hit me in the pocket more as I have to fork out more money for travel to and from the festival as well paying more for my ticket.
Also I’ve now got the problem of no one to go with as Zac spectacularly bails on me going to the Reading Festival, never mind I’m sure he’ll have a great time in Portugal.
