Needing A Strategy For Business!

This was one of few exams which I had done very little revision for. My exam today was that of an A2 Business Strategy examination paper. It’s what I call my mini break after completing all my AS exams. Despite College’s best efforts to further waste my time with cushion making tutorials and dampen any enthusiasm I did have for trying to revise for my exam today.

Unusually for a Wednesday morning, I had to get up early (Due to the fact I normally have a half day on Wednesday’s) and hanging around outside the College exam room, on the chairs with my mates, who were all frantically reading the revision booklet, which we had been given to help with out revision.

There I was just daydreaming about something else… amidst the chaos around me. Perhaps it was the lack of revision for this exam, but never had I been so relaxed before an exam.

The build up before the exam flew by, and next thing I had noticed I was in the exam room, with umpteen spare pens, some glucose tablets and a bottle of water. The exam was not as bad as I had been expecting… one question on whether ACC should sell the packaging plant and another to give your view on how ACC should do with rising energy costs. Then there were the other two questions which was slightly more difficult to answer.

I hope, I’ve done enough to get the mark I want.

Despite having an exam this morning, I still have the misfortune of having to go to my AS classes. As I’m taking both AS and A2 Levels I get a raw deal in terms of getting time off from my exams. Unlike A2 students I do not get study leave for my exams as I still have to attend all my AS classes, and once all my AS exams have finished I have to continue with my AS classes whilst there is A2 exams still for me to do… and to cap it of I have to attend these shitty tutorials which I learn about making a cushion… waste of my bloody time!
