Letting My Mother Get My Reading Festival Tickets

Here I am worried and frankly dam concerned about the sale of Reading Festival tickets. When I saw the tickets went on sale on the 31st March weeks back, I wasn’t overly concerned, but now that I’ve seen that ticket sale day clashes with me working on a Monday, I can’t say I’m overly impressed.

I thought I had easily had the ticket day for the Reading Festival under control, but it is now apparent that isn’t the case anymore. I am now in the process of writing detailed and clear instructions in order for my mother to do what she can to obtain tickets for my behalf.

I can’t say I’m overly confident about my chances of getting tickets now, but it’s the only chance I’ve got and I’ve just got to hope and prey for the best. I can just see it’s going to be an anxious wait at my workplace on the evening of the 31st.

I don’t know how I would react at the news if I didn’t get tickets.

After “Missing out” on a fun filled evening with my “Friends” last Friday, I was pretty glad I turned down the chance to go out with them.

It was another pretty standard day at College essentially. Another uninspiring Business lesson in which confirms my belief that the current timetabling set up is fucking ridiculous as students to handle. Funny how I’m even less motivated than last year at College, and learn even less than I did last year in my lessons due to the fact they are so ridiculously long (Over 2 hours) and therefore is impossible to concentrate for such a length of time.

Just before Business I shoved it to the fattish girl that had been harassing me for weeks and generally attempting to embarrass me in Business lessons. It’s one of them girls that thinks they are all that, but if you took off the layers off war paint she put’s on, and took a closer look in the mirror is no better than your average girl.

She started mocking me again, and asked my friend why he hadn’t shaken my hand (As him and this other friend shook hands to greet) and was then like ‘Shake my hand!!!” to me. I replied with a simple “No thanks” before she started getting arsey. She retorted “I won’t even try pretend that I like you”, I then turn the tables and bring up “How always keeps on and tries to embarrass me with Business lessons” which at this point she was slightly taken aback as I entered my fierce finger wagging mode at her, thrusting my finger near her face.

Fucking deserved it though, although things brightened up after my business lesson as I met up with a friend who was in my Media class. This was after I headed into town at lunch which this fellow girl within my class mentioned “How my friend had been looking for me” it was by chance that I passed him on the way as I was heading into town centre, so he turned around and joined me in town.

Media lesson was a pretty good lesson, and indeed my friend never fails to amaze me at how he can literally talk to anyone in the class with no problems. In the second part of the Media lesson we were in the Library doing research for our current media project and he was working the room almost, talking to everybody as he went. I was pretty impressed, although I do worry when he leaves my Media class next year, seeing as he is my main friend in the class.
