It was the 2nd day at Munich and we decided to go sight seeing and I suggested that we go to Munich’s Olympic park were the 1974 Olympics were held and after much struggle on Munich’s underground train network, we finally reached the Olympic Park.
After wandering around for a bit, we decided to pay 2 euros to tour the stadium where England so famously beat the German’s 5-1 in a football game. What became apparent as we entered the stadium was how run down it was compared what it used to be like. There was scaffolding everywhere, but at 2 euros I couldn’t really complain could I?
We then headed to the Bayern Munich’s new stadium the Allianz Arena and we did eventually make the Allianz Arena (After a slow walk with Zac taking pictures and videos every 5 minutes)
We then toured the Allianz Arena stadium for 9 euros.
